  • 1975 - Ehwa Diamond IND. CO., LTD. is established in Seoul, Korea.

  • 1985 - Relocation of the company as well as the production plant to Osan.

  • 1988 - Foundation of the Ehwa Institute of Technology.

  • 1990 - Award by the President of Korea for companies with an export volume of more than 10 million USD.

  • 1993 - Established new production facility in Seochun- Korea and Fujian-China. Achievement of ISO 9001 certification.

  • 1994 - Awarded in the Precision Engineering Competition organized by the Korean Ministry of Economy.

  • 1995 - Award by the Korean Ministry of Economy for companies with an export volume of more than 50 million USD.

  • 1997 - Finishing of the plant in Weihei, China.

  • 2001 - Honored as a company with outstanding products in the field of "machine equipment" by the Korean Ministry of Economy.

  • 2002 - Finished the plant in Shanghai, China. Changing Iso certification ISO 9001 to ISO 14001.

  • 2003 - Designation as Excellence Research Center for Manufacturing Technology. Achievement of OSA (Organization for the Safety of Abrasives) certification.

  • 2004 - Establishment of sales company "EHWA-Europe" with headquarters in Germany (Frankfurt).

  • 2005 - Awarded by the Korean Ministry of Economy as a company with an export volume of 70 million USD.

  • 2007 - Production facility in Weihei, China becomes OSA certified.

  • 2008 - First industry award by the Korean Ministry of Economy as a company with an export volume of 100 million USD.

  • 2009 - Nomination of Ehwa Diamond Co. Ltd, as a member of the consortium " 10 World Premier Materials".

  • 2010 - Award as " Supplier of the Year" by GM (General Motors)

  • 2011 - Awarded as "Supplier of the Year" by GM (General Motors).

    Awarded as " Medium-sized World Class Company" by the Korean Ministry of Economy.

    Nomination of Ehwa Diamond Co. Ltd., into the circle of "World Class 300" companies by the Korean government.

  • 2012 - Awarded as "Supplier of the Year" by GM (General Motors).

  • 2013 – Eröffnung eines neuen Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentrums(R&D Center) in Dongtan. Eröffnung einer neuen Vertriebsniederlassung in Indien.
